The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway 8 ton goods brake vans were built by the Bristol Carriage & Wagon Works in 1897, the company supplying three of these useful vehicles that could carry goods as well acting as the brake van. There was an earlier open veranda style, and a later enclosed veranda style that the Southern Railway introduced. |
