Fourteen PRA china clay wagons were produced by Standard Wagon at Heywood in 1983, by repurposing redundant chassis units from PCC vans. New open box bodies were built for them to transport china clay slurry from Cornwall to Scotland. This small fleet was only in use for a small time, with all 14 out of use by the early 1990s.
