The classic Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0 saddle tank locomotive design was first introduced at the turn of the 20th century. These well proportioned locomotives found usage at many industrial railways. The Llanfair & Mynydd Mawr railway was home to two examples, which later passed onto the GWR and then British Rialways. An example has been preserved and can be found at the Middleton Railway. |
