A large fleet of 'Falcon' wagons were produced by Trinity in Romania for Network Rail in the early 2000s. Since then, they have become a common sight across the UK and are used solely for the transport of ballast or spoil in connection with infrastructure projects or maintenance to the network. The JNAs are always operated in sets of five and are all painted in the distinctive Network Rail yellow colour scheme.
