The class 66 models feature directional lighting but it is not quite as real as the prototype. The light above the cab windows illuminates as per the prototype. The main headlight also illuminates as per the prototype but the 2 marker lights are PRINTED and DO NOT ILLUMINATE.
There is also a feature for switching the lights between "Day" and "Night", this switches the lower light from left to right. The switch for this feature is situated on the underside of the battery boxes. This feature is present on the Dapol N gauge and Bachmann OO gauge models, but we are unsure whether the Farish N gauge item will feature it.
